I am new to the forum and I confess I don't live next to this shop, but with so many empty properties on our high streets shouldn't we be welcoming a national chain like dominoes? I think their pizzas...

I have no great love for Domino's. I think we have far too many sub standard take away outlets in the area. However, the reason we have so many is that they make a lot of money compared with other use...

Gladly! Got plenty of dross up our way, a dominos would be a huge improvement. The old spar is now a charity shop and I'd have preferred a Dominos.

Worth considering Eliot Bank too, which is on the Sydenham side but is rated outstanding by Ofsted. There are some nice roads around the school (Derby Hill Crescent, Thorpewood Ave, Radlet Ave).
