There is a planning meeting for the 1 Manor Mount Planning Proposal put in by Mr Paul Kenward. A letter was sent out to local residents. I am hoping that local people will come to this to support me in my objection to the planning application DC/08/69286. Many thanks to those people who supported my objections to this planning application. We raised 92 signatures online with 33 letters attached, plus 27 names on a local petition and 9 letters of objection.
Joan Ruddock MP took up some of the points about this objection with the planning commitee.
Councillor Alex Feakes came over to visit me and support my objections.
One of my main objections is that we do not need more flats in the Manor Mount Conservation Area. The policy department of Lewisham is considering changing its policy on the size of family houses to be turned into flats because too many large houses are being lost this way and there is still a need for large family houses in the area. Manor Mount is a conservation Area and should be treated like one.
