I live on Shipman Road and it's lovely - nice and quiet, with Mayow park within easy walking distance, and buses up to the Horniman regularly. And the "greasy spoon" cafe and the bakery down on Perry ...

Oh, but do check for damp! Apparently there's an underground stream under the road, and some of the houses - including ours - have needed extra damp-proofing. Maybe a bargaining tool? :)
