I honestly dont care if he lived JUST at the other side of the road closure, he should follow the diversion like everyone is meant to. Or does NO ENTRY only apply if you live more that 25 metres after the end of the one way section!
The cause of the road closure is indeed at this time for the develpment of the Berkeley homes (not Barratt), however the set up of the diversion was to minimuse the inconvinience to road users. Unfortunatly those very same road users have caused the total closure of the road, instead of partial.
Also the comment of "4 days early" The partial closure occured on the 9th June, as stated and planned. The total closure has been brought forward from Monday 7 July 2008 to today, due to the stupidity of motorists.
We have 3 cars in this house, so also pay a great deal of money towards road usage and maintainance, but lets be sensible about this now. Driving the wrong way down a one way road is stupid, dangerous and irresponsible.
If I come from South Road to Christchurch School, can I drive the wrong way up Church Vale "cos its easier" ? NO!
Perryman, curious about the changes to the road you mention, and interested to know the full details. Any links to the new proposed layout ?
Just to finally get the message across, is the attached map REALLY that much hardship for some ?
