I got a letter in the mail yesterday. Of course, Lewisham Council does subscribe to the 'plain English' rules & regs.

But it seems to say the plans have changed:

"The construction of 2, two storey buildings, plus roofspace at land adjacent to, 29 Shipman Rd SE23 to provide 1, three bedroom and 1, four bedroom house (Amended Plans Received). Previous objections and comments received will still be taken into account."

So it sounds as if the initial plans for a six flat building have been shelved, replaced instead by two single family homes. Is that correct? The letter is not clear.

I'm still a wary of squeezing two houses into that space, but two single family homes is better than six tiny flats in my opinion.
