Hi, I'm new here . . . and I'm glad to be here too.
Very nice forum, I found this by accident (always the way!! Rolleyes)
I and my family have happily lived in Forest Hill since 1989.

Anyway, thanks for putting up the link to the PerryVale/Rise traffic project.
I've filled in the 'questionaire' - and have to agree that I too find the road safety 'improvements' at the Vale/Rise end of the road horrific!
Trying to get across the road at the Siddons Road end is an absolute nightmare. . . getting back again, with the blind bend? . . Cursing

The obvious solution (in my humble opinion) is to move the bus stops:
1) away from the bend
2) away from each other
and to put in pelican crossings (or at the very least a zebra crossing) near the shops and possibly at the Mayow Rd end (for the lads of Forest Hill boys) - although the mini roundabout is better/safer than it used to be - er, for cars not people.
Anyone else find that road extremely dark too?
Oh, and on the subject of the buses, am I the only one who thinks they go way too fast along there?
Anyway, enough for now
