The plan is to build a ramp to the entrance, which will have a level plateau for people to walk across. No major change, but will slow vehicles down as they enter / exit.

With the funds allocated it is not possible construct a "proper" path into the car park. As this would require the relocation the ticket machine (easily ?10k in itself)

There is also a plan to raise funds to undertake this & provide an additional entrance to Platform 2 via the car park. If this ever goes ahead is all another matter, its all dependant on planning approval.

As expected, this work was not carried out during the road reconstruction because the money has only come available.

As for the crossing point near the underpass..when the hoarding is removed visibility will be vastly imporved. There will be around another metre of width to the footway, allowing people to see all the way down towards Finches Ski Shop. From speaking with Berkeley Homes they will have their show home / flat open in around 6 months, which will hopefully mean a section of the hoarding will be taken away & improve things.
