For anyone with an interest in Perry Vale and Perry Rise (the roads, not the general area), a traffic project is being done for the PV local assembly. Two public meetings (only one left: Monday 22 March - see below) and a user survey to fill in (online here and I think paper ones have been delivered to households in the area).
Details taken from this website:
"Perry Vale Traffic Project
Perry Vale Local Assembly has identified that there is substantial local concern about the level of traffic on Perry Vale and Perry Rise and its effect on local people, including to date, at least one fatality.
They have appointed Creative Process to consult with the members of the Assembly and local residents to identify problem areas and to come up with appropriate solutions.
There will be two public meetings, managed by Creative Process and a traffic specialist from ADL Traffic Engineering. The meetings will identify and prioritise the concerns and then propose a list of solutions to the issues raised.
If you cannot attend the meetings, then please fill in our online survey where you will have a chance to tell us your views.
Public Meeting 1
Monday 15 March at 7pm
Forest Hill Methodist Church, Normanton Street, SE23 2DS
Public Meeting 2
Monday 22 March at 7pm
Forest Hill Methodist Church, Normanton Street, SE23 2DS
Please RSVP to Brigid Martin on 020 8691 6729 or brigid@creativeprocess.org.uk
The result of the project will be to publish a report with a prioritised list of traffic issues that have been tested against nationally recognised norms and for which a series of solutions have been proposed.
Funds to implement these recommendations have yet to be identified, but having a report that is the result of a wide consultation process will help greatly to secure the funding needed to address the issues raised.
We hope you will take this opportunity to let us know what you think the issues connected with the road are, we value your opinion. "
