Living on the corner of HOP, I agree with gingernuts re the suitability of HOP for the large double decker buses that would serve the centre of town - not to mention the additional noise and traffic volume, particularly at peak times. I appreciate that HO might benefit from better bus services to town, however, and certainly think it's worth looking into and perhaps considering other options (are there any other bus routes, perhaps single deckers?) and getting more opinions from local residents.
