It all seems very squashed and compact to me. Can a resident who does not live on the same street write to object ?

I am going off topic here for a minute, just to say that the council has adopted a systematic approach to the removal of many of our old and healthy trees all around Forest Hill, without any apperently valid reason. Whilst at Southwark, for instance, they have decided to plant trees in East Dulwich a while ago, at times against residents will (given the dimensions of some streets over there), Lewisham seem unstoppable in the pursuit of making our streets less verdant. Does anybody know why this happens ?
