Does anyone know the commotion on Perry Vale this evening? I heard someone was knocked down by a car, I hope nothing serious happened.

A 356 hit someone on PV by the corner of Wynell Rd (next to Mayow Rd).
Almost certainly very bad news indeed.

All the Sydenham Road buses are on diversion up and down Mayow Road and along Perry Vale because Sydenham Road is closed between Kent House Road and Home Park. That might have been a contributing factor if someone was knocked over.

Sad news from Forest Hill and Sydenham last night:

FOREST HILL: 10-year-old boy in serious condition after hit by bus

Condolances and best wishes to anybody affected by these incidents.

Very sad news indeed. Waiting for more info to come out about it to know what happened. Passed by this morning, huge police presence there, looking for witnesses. Thankfully arrests were made Smile

Condolences to the family regardless of situation.

The boy hit by a bus is on page 24 of today's South London Press - he fractured his arm but is OK. But his mum ain't happy...

Thanks mike - absolutely amazing when you consider that the bus had part of its bodywork broken off, wind screen cracked, and had to be towed away.

He's a very lucky lad indeed.
