Cars heading past the station Southbound, then preparing to continue right on to London Rd towards Sainsbury. There's 4 traffic lights controlling those cars to stop and let pedestrians cross.

One on the other side still shows Green when the other 3 show red and pedestrians get a green to cross.

So, if a driver only sees the one on the other side he could go on straight and hit either a pedestrian or cars coming from the other side.

It's weird because the light then turns red later on.

Anyway it's totally out of sync whatever the case. I've reported it to TFL 2 days ago and still nothing has been done. So....... Yeah just be careful guys!

Saw a car go flying through today as pedestrians were given the green light.

Would anyone else like to report this so we can get something done?

I eventually got to see the light in question yesterday evening. It's not part of the group controlling traffic on the South Circular travelling up past the station but is, in fact, one of a pair of lights controlling the pedestrian crossing across the end of Dartmouth Road.

It should have a louvre on the green light so that it can only be seen by vehicles directly in front of it - traffic waiting at the station/fish & chip shop lights shouldn't be able to see the green (or amber) light, only the red one.

So the light IS phasing correctly, but the louvre is missing.

Actually, looking more closely this morning I see that the louvre isn't missing - just badly adjusted...

It doesn't phase correctly even with the other side of the road?

I had another look. It doesn't phase with the traffic waiting at the station. It doesn't phase with traffic coming from Sainsburys the[/b] other direction either. It's just totally random.

Even when it does go red. When traffic at the station gets a green, it turns green 3 seconds before the other set turns green. I don't know. I see your point but it seems like it doesn't phase correctly even taking in to account the missing cover.
