Cheeky, I'm afraid the 'surprise' is already underway. It's secretive nature means many people won't even have noticed. The 'surprise' continues until October when The Old Bank will be empty again... ...

About a year ago the guy from the Palmerston looked at the Old Bank and wanted to turn it into a Thai Restaurant. There were a few discussions but the rent demanded was too high so he went elsewhere.....

I guess what I'm saying is that we were all so sure the site would be snapped up by some amazing restaurateur. Likewise Indobangla and Sainsbury's... What none of us banked on was a dying high street...

I agree. Really sad. We'll now have six empty premises on the parade (including the antique place which is just a front) - plus the Jeyarani shop is up for sale... Really depressing if all these shops...

It never had a 'let' sign outside during all the Domino's hoo-ha. And if it isn't let, then stating 'let agreed' on the website will stop potential interested parties contacting willmotts.:confused:

St Augustine's Church, One Tree Hill, has a group called Little Acorns every Tuesday from 9.30am until 11.30am. Again, it's a toddler group, but has a baby area.
