I'm not a fan of the sign, the wave bit is clumsy and unnecessary. But there is nothing wrong with capital letters on buildings.
I agree that the bold lettering is OK and that the waves going round the corner are a bit weird, but what I don't get is the way it has been applied.
The mounting rails are as prominent at the graphics. Surely that's not right? It looks ridiculous.

Well, some people have got into a 'right lather' over the pools so I'd have thought taking some soap in to the pools would be entirely appropriate.
Anyone hear any more about whether the pools will open in July after all?
I was at Forest Fest yesterday where the swimming pool had a stand. I asked them and they said there have been delays and it likely to be the end of July, My money is on the 26th of July.

I have been told the unofficial opening is on Saturday 28th July! Please don't quote me on this its just what I have been told. The official opening is still on the 22nd September.

Don't be too sad. If opened in July, this project would be delivered few months ahead of Sep 2012, the official opening date.
