Any info on the new bus stop at the top of Church Rise? The police seemed quite keen on it earlier.

Bus stop?
There was a bus stuck on the island last night for a long period, blocking the whole bloomin road, eventually recovery came out.

Do they usually use that junction? It seemed to have been trying to turn right over the traffic island.

Nope it's quite infrequent, but when they do use it, they often get stuck for one reason or another. Kinda wish they would be told not to, as the road layout isn't done with buses in mind.
Nice bit of damage to the island, probably unreported to Lewisham too.

Church Rise was the regular terminus for Routes 171 and 194. Now it's for irregular short terminating for routes which terminate at FH, although I've found the 176 tends to drive down Church Rise and park up outside the Capitol instead.

Yup it used to be the turn around point for buses stopping in Westbourne Drive for quite a few routes. Much nicer now there are only infrequent visits from buses.
The layout of the top of the road has been changed quite a lot since those days, so due to that, a lot of buses struggle to make the corner and get stuck.
