The food and the service are typically Italian. I think that there is a version of Italian food that is commonly served in the UK and if not like this then some people seem unhappy.
I can assure you that Le Querce is the real deal and, in my opinion, the best restaurant in the area.
To answer the OP, we ate there 2 days ago and the food was top notch. I would say this though: as per best advice in Italy (anywhere?), choose from the blackboard/specials menu. The staff are always happy to translate for you.
