Big water leak late last night on Brockley Rise near the junction with Stanstead Road, by Rickman's Pharmacy. The road surface had ruptured on both sides of the street and the water was flowing down onto Stanstead Road, more than the drains could cope with. I reported it to Thames Water but they seem to be trying to deal with a lot of other leaks in the area too. Haven't been past there to take a look this morning.

We've been without water since 6.30am and so it appears have most of our neighbours.

Thames Water are useless - half the 'customer services' reps don't recognise our postcode and they aren't able to give out any vaguely helpful info such as which problem, where, is causing the lack of water and when it's likely to be fixed.

I can appreciate the weather is a factor. I am just fed up because we have lost the water supply about fifteen times in the 11 years we've lived here.Mad
