Southwark intend to now implement traffic calming measures on roads which include Forest Hill Road.

By doing so this will cause lengthy tailbacks along both Honor Oak Park and Honor Oak road which is ultimately going to lead to tail backs on the south circular and so it will increase the amount of cars using the side roads of these roads for more rat run journey's, plus the inevitable delays, increased levels of pollution from stationary vehicles with running engines and of course prolonged journey times.

Another ill thought out scheme that Southwark will shortly be implementing. And Lewisham are just as bad narrowing roads to reduce traffic speeds, simply put, plain madness by the grey men in suits.
