The Brockley Rise Centre is holding an open day (SE23 1PR). You can pop in any time between now and 3 pm to find out about the courses on offer - they range from essential skills teaching e.g. English, Maths and English for Speakers of Other Languages to things like Embroidery and Textiles, Knitting and Yoga as well as Art Acting and Music. There is a glass work exhibition, cake decoration demonstration and knitting clinic.
