7.00 to 9.00, Kilmorie School, Kilmorie Road

Quote:
At this assembly the agenda will cover many items of local interest including:

  • An update from your local Perry Vale Safer Neighbourhood Team
  • The latest news relating to the proposed closure of Lewisham Hospital A&E
  • Information about Forest Hill Station Underpass
  • An opportunity to hear the latest developments from SEE3 regarding the Portas Pilot

You will also have an opportunity to meet your three Perry Vale Ward Councillors and view the Perry Vale Action Plan which demonstrates how we are responding to your local concerns.

Finally, the assembly always ends with an open forum, so if you have any news or if there is anything that you want to say then this is your chance.

Top priorities for Perry Vale Assembly

  • the environment
  • roads and traffic
  • activities for younger people
  • anti-social behaviour and crime
  • activities for the whole community

The assembly has developed an action plan to address these priorities which can be downloaded from the PV Local Assembly page on the Lewisham web site here.

Any Update on the situation regarding the underpass?

I'm not currently in Forest Hill, but where are we with it?

Conways are reforming the treads to the staircases at this moment. Most of the refurbishment work will be completed by the end of January. However, the steel cladding panels will not be available to us until 25th February. The whole project should be completed by the end of the first week in March.

LBL are fairly certain that the masonry paint is not washing off but there are a number of rainwater "runs" that are visible in a couple of places. They'll keep an eye on it and make sure that all is well before the anti-graffiti coating is applied.

It looks to me like the white patches on the green paint might be efflorescence from the bricks seeping through, perhaps a result of the jet washing. In any case, it will all need another coat as there is both staining and graffiti already.
