Just an update. The ONE pallet of water that was dropped off outside the Methodist Church is now EMPTY. No water. No water until midnight (and, of course, no bottled water AT ALL) is the neighborhood rumor.

I gather the first two cars that turned up to take emergency supplies at the church took the whole lot leaving a throng fronted by pregnant woman empty handed. Welcome to Britain.

No way. That's outrageous.

Surely someone is responsible for managing it?
That's a joke.
There are a LOT of people without, one pallet of bottled water would never be enough. But at the same time people need to be sensible about what they take, and actually need the water for.

Going back to an earlier post, it is indeed amazing how we take things for granted.

Ahem. Never in doubt. Hope the clowns that pilfered all the bottled water don't manage to flog it on.

They must have delivered a second lot to the Methy Church because when my partner walked up at 7:45/8ish there was only one woman there, loading up a makeshift trolley with all of the water that was left - partner just managed to nip in and get one of the sixpack of bottles for us and our next door neighbours and got a bit of an earful for her trouble after she commented that she thought they had "more than enough" - nice!
