The so-called 09.22 is always late, but I think it comes from Victoria and those trains are often delayed. Maybe that explains the delays to the 08.21 and 10.22?

Yes, the barriers have Oyster readers (just the same as the ones at London Bridge, Charing Cross etc etc). An Oyster with a season ticket on will be fine, it's pay-as-you-go that can't be used.
