Wasn't this done only about 3 years ago? Hopefully they'll do a better job this time around..

Post: RE: Alarming house prices!

I'm sure it's a perfectly nice place to live. In fact, the location is pretty good. But for that price you could get a substantially larger period property - even with the crazy increases we've been ...

Post: RE: Alarming house prices!

Despite the fact that I'm about to pay about £100k more than I thought I ever would for a perfectly ordinary 3-bed in Sydenham I do hope this is a bubble and that these prices are not the new normal. ...

I can't resist the lure of a personal question or three.. I've only ever lived in SE/barely SW London (except for a stint away at uni) so can't really comment on living in N London. If money and p...

Unfortunately that's how much a zone 1-3 Tube peak single fare is wherever you are in London (I agree, it is pricey!). If that's a journey you often do, have you considered getting to Whitechapel...

I'd dispute that. For anyone wanting to move from a flat to a house within Forest Hill it's still a bad thing surely? If all property prices rise by the same proportion then house prices will be eve...
