It's several times throughout the day. Isn't it illegal to take the silencer off the bike, hence the dreadful noise? The noise is similar to a car with a broken exhaust.

There used to be a Wimpy's two doors past Sainsbury's, where The Teapot now is. I also remember the green grocers, called Vickers. They were opposite Armstrong solicitors.

Devonshire road is totally unsuitable for large lorries, even more so now that parked cars either side are not allowed to park on the pavement. I wish it wasn't used as a rat run.

We had Swifts for about 40 years, until 3 years ago when we had a plague of Starlings that got to their old nesting place a few weeks before them. We haven't seen them since.:(
