Not the most inspiring of façades but the concept of a hotel on this site is worthy of support. Might even act a catalyst to get the area south of tracks tidied up.

Looking at page 202 (map 128) of the LCC Bomb damage map book there was a V1 hit just south of the Church Vale / Westbourne road junction - one of five which are shown over this part of FH.

Maybe. There are really useful design features which could be employed to slow the traffic, give pedestrians a fair crack at crossing and still allow the buses and emergency vehicles to travel freely....

Yes Sherwood I agree. For some reason they have resisted this in the past. The 'table' they rebuilt is shallower than the prevoius one and does nothing to slow the traffic.
