I am very sympathetic to your appeal and whilst I am not a resident of Woolstone Road, I am here to share very similar concerns on a nearby road to yours. We have been experiencing similar level of cars, minibuses, Clarks coaches and TRACKS (!!) traffic speeding through Sunderland Road ( despite a few speed bumps) for a while too. This used to be a quiet and safe residential road but it is now noisy and fairly dangerous, especially at peak times during the day. The presence of a school half way through it does not really seem to dissuade people to speed or pay attention. Both roads are obviously used as shortcuts from and to main traffic artheries, very often saturated with cars queueing.
Thank you for bringing this up.

Good luck. I have spent a lot of time time and effort trying to get Lewisham highways dept. to take the speed of traffic in residential roads seriously to little effect.
