I'm surprised to find that I've not had my bins emptied yet this week. It's usually done on Tuesday. It's now late on Thursday. I understand that things were disrupted at the beginning of the week, but I wouldn't expect the bin men to be a full three days behind. Plus, I'm on a main road, no problems with access.

Anyone else?

Had our black bin emptied today - 2 days late. Would imagine the slippery conditions earlier this week had an effect on normal service

I can understand them running a bit late, but I've never known them by quite so late, even in the winter of 2010. It's now 10am on Friday and no sign of the bin men. So there's a good chance the bins won't be emptied until Monday, nearly a full week late. The Lewisham website states that refuse collection is going on as normal, except where roads where impassible or dangerously slippery. I've logged it as a missed collection in any case, just in case they've forgotten us.

Same as that. Neither our regular bin or recycling was collected this week.
