I appreciate that the excessive temperatures may have compounded Lewisham Councils weekly collection of the recycling bins which have not been emptied this week, 09 08 2022, but the dust men did pull them to the curb in readiness, leaving a slalom to get through when walking along the pavement (thanks for that). I had anticipated they may have been emptied today, the following day, but alas not.

"Recycling bin collections
Due to a shortage of drivers, some recycling bins in the Hither Green/Lee Green area could not be collected today – Thursday 11 August.

If your recycling bin was due for collection today and could not be collected, please leave it out. Crews will collect these bins on Friday 12 or Saturday 13 August.

Our crews work hard to collect over 300,000 bins in Lewisham each week and we thank you for your patience."

Sadly no mention of Forest Hill........Have any residents contacted Lewisham Council and have they provided any updates???

A little birdie tells me reliably that the bins will be collected on Saturday, so please put them out for collection.
