Any idea on timescales for completion?

I have just received a letter from Geoff Whitington (Lewisham Planning Department) confirming that everything is going to go ahead.



This is great news for HOP!

Will be interesting to see what the timescales will be - doubt it will be this side of xmas.

The gutting of the middle property seems to have started.

I notice that there is a loading restriction in place from Fri 14th.

Apparently not until June next year...

Long drawn out process but agreement finally signed with Sainsbury and works will be starting imminently. Hopefully have a new store in the summer.

It can't come soon enough

good stuff. be great to get rid of those empty shops and be able to pick up quickly some basics in the evening and weekends. going to be good for the other local shops too I am sure. lots of extra footfall!

They've put up some boarding now so it looks like things are on the move.

they are not moving very quickly!

Parking bays in front of the shops have been suspended until 08/04/13... so this may be a clue as to when the Sainsbury's will open
