Saturday 5th November:
Southern: No service due to industrial action. If the strike doesn't go ahead, a normal service will operate.
London Overground: A reduced service will operate with the final train at around 1800 due to industrial action. If the strike is cancelled, a normal service will operate.
Use alternative means of transport to attend fireworks displays if possible.
Sunday 6th November:
Southern: A later start to services as industrial action ends, but otherwise a normal service will operate to London Bridge and Victoria. If the strike doesn't go ahead, a normal service will operate from start of service.
London Overground: A later start to services if the strike goes ahead, if if doesn't, it'll be a normal Sunday service from the start of the timetable.

Thank you!
And am I right in thinking there are strikes on Monday Wednesday and Thursday next week?
Are they affecting Southern services as well would you happen to know?
Thanks in advance

On RMT strike days, there are no Southern services, however there is a reduced London Overground service until 6pm. Usually the last train from Canada Water is around 5.40pm.

Tomorrow and next week's RMT strikes have been called off, so it'll be a normal service from Forest Hill and HOP this weekend.

Southern will be running their strike timetable tomorrow as it's too late to organise cover.

London Overground will be doing the same for today. They will be running to the planned strike timetable, with services shutting down around 6-7pm.
Monday, again operating to the revised strike timetable with some enhancements (as much as can be done).
Wednesday will be able to operate a full normal service.

Not 100% confirmed, but we have an idea of the level of service across the Christmas period.
Christmas Eve:
Normal Saturday timetable until the evening. Final train from London Bridge is at 1958, final train from Victoria is at 1950.
London Overground will operate until around 11pm. Final train from Whitechapel at 2239 and Canada Water at 2246, arriving at Forest Hill at 2301.
Christmas Day: No service.
Boxing Day: No service this year surprisingly. Southern will be running trains from Crystal Palace to London Bridge and East Croydon if anyone has to use trains using Bus 122 to reach the station.
Tuesday 27th December (Bank Holiday): A Saturday service on London Overground, Southern have no service except for an early morning service to London Bridge at 0628 nd three late night services from London Bridge to Forest Hill at 2358, 0020 and 0035.
Wednesday 28th, Thursday 29th, Friday 30th December:
Southern have no service except for the 0628 to London Bridge and three late night services from London Bridge to Forest Hill at 2358, 0020 and 0035.
Saturday timetable on London Overground.
New Year's Eve: Two early morning services to London Bridge at 0559 and 0628, plus the usual 2358, 0020 and 0035 from London Bridge from Southern.
London Overground will operate a Saturday timetable with the Night Overground service extended from New Cross Gate operating every 15 minutes between Highbury & Islington and Sydenham, with the West Croydon and Crystal Palace sections every 30 minutes.
It's worth noting that it appears the Elizabeth line won't be operating overnight on NYE, so Canada Water will be the place to get the train home from the festivities via the Jubilee line. This may change nearer the time.
New Year's Day:
No service on Southern with London Overground running the Sunday timetable.
Monday 2nd January:
London Overground will operate a Saturday timetable with Southern operating two early services to London Bridge at 0605 and 0628, along with three late night trains from London Bridge at 2358, 0020 and 0035.
Normal services resume on Tuesday 3rd January.

Boxing Day level of service hasn't been announced yet by company to discuss with union/drivers. Usually it's done on a volunteer basis. There's only New Crosses and West Croydons officially off due to engineering works, so there's still the possibility of running to Crystal Palace and Clapham. Could change closer to the time.
