There is industrial action on Thursday 20th July and Saturday 22nd/29th.

On those three days, Southern will not operate services to London Bridge and Victoria, however passenegers can use the Overground to Crystal Palace to change for Southern services to Victoria.

Passengers for East Croydon can still change at Norwood Junction for a four trains per hour service.

London Overground is not affected, so will operate a normal service.

Hasn't been mentioned here, but this week until Thursday, trains are not running between Highbury & Islington/New Cross Gate after 2200. Trains from London Bridge are still running, and there will be a NXG - West Croydon every half hour. This is due to the station redevelopment works at Surrey Quays. (New station entrance, lifts etc). Expect random/full line closures until next year in evenings/weekends.

Last train from Canada Water to Forest Hill Tuesday 18th July to Thursday 20th July departs Canada Water at 2153. After that, you'll have to go to London Bridge to get a Southern service.

@Nottinghillbilly

There are 2 trains an hour from Crystal Palace to London Bridge on Saturday at 23 and 53 past each hour but the routes goes "round the houses" and takes 28 minutes to get to London Bridge. This route doesn't run on Sundays though.

Alternatively there are trains from Crystal Palace to Victoria on both Saturday (4 trains an hour at 08, 27, 38 and 57 past) and Sunday (2 trains an hour at 26 and 56 past). The journey time is also 28 minutes.

Best place to check is:
https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ or the National rail app

@ChrisR I meant are the Crystal palace Overground trains running because only the west Croydon line was mentioned in the previous post.
So I believe I'm right in assuming we have no trains at all from Forest Hill this weekend.
Thank you for your reply.
Its much appreciated as is this thread.

The reason why I didn't mention Crystal Palace is that all the replacement buses call at CP in the first place on the way to West Croydon.

Penge West incidentally doesn't have the replacement buses call at that station, but routes 176 and 197 provide a regular service to that station from Forest Hill.
