The council in their infinite wisdom (Not) have decided that the Food waste and garden waste are now collected separately as the waste goes to different destinations, although they fail to inform residents of this change.

Surely this is twice as much effort, time, fuel and pollution with the collection round now having to be "walked" twice.

Some bright spark in a council office must be very pleased with themselves, but feel sorry for those having to do the collections on the same round twice in a day. Now that would be a reason to go "sick". Even more so as the Council is experiencing a Covid spike which is impacting on them meeting collection schedules.
