You seem to know quite a bit about this & Eco Communities, you could approach them & put in a joint bid with them yourself if you want too.

Remember we are doing this voluntary & possibly committing to it for the next 25 years (which we know will be no easy task) if our bids successful. We are doing this for the benefit of the whole community as we don't want to see our library closed or with reduced stock due to someone else possibly generating income taking up part of the library to do this & having to reduce the stock to achieve this.

I really hope the winning bid goes to whoever can maintain the library best for FH & the community regardless if it's us or not.

As I've said before myself & Michael (and John Russell, who doesn't post on here) fought to keep the library run by Lewisham Council, but now the decision has been made that it will become a community library rather than just ignoring this and do nothing about it we've decided to try and do the best we possibly can.
