Fair points, Admin, although in all the forums I am a member of (all of which allow editing of one's own posts indefinitely) I've never seen anyone edit their posts to make mischief. Many forums add a footnote to a post to indicate that it has been edited, with a time stamp, so it is clear if edits have been made after certain comments. Oh, look, I've just edited and see you have it!
Nonetheless, a welcome addition.
