Aaah well I just re-checked. My report has been closed off with the comment that the bikes are on private land and not abandoned.
Nice one !
Well thats my bit done, it can just turn into a dump now as far as im concerned. No comments about the plant pots which are building daily etc.
Can't resist - told ya so!
I do have to admit previous experience with bikers and their accumulated personal junkyards. I still suffer a rotting heap aka "Project" on my own driveway and another in the garage. Sigh.... And also on a professional level, experience with squatters of all sorts, from the casual to the highly organised. Believe me, they know all the rules and exactly what they can and can't do and how long and the hassle involved for landlords it takes to get them out. I fear that, legal or not, they'll be around for a while....
Lol that's fine, you are entitled to say it haha.
Seems they know better, so I will just get used to the eye sore and not waste any more of Lewishams time on the matter.
Just hope the local businesses can tolorate it too.
How strange, when I last looked there were 2 reports which was mine just duplicated. Well that's good news that at least one of them is still open.
Hope there is no petrol in those bikes inside the building, that's a nasty accident waiting to happen.
Link not working for me
How strange, reported before my report, very similar yet mine got closed off first
Still got hope then.
Well no progress yet, but it would appear that something has been taken from outside there. There is a sign stating something along the lines 'give them back or I pass the CCTV to the police'
Given the mess outside and disregard for others, im finding it hard to have any pity. Thats just me.
Nice one. Things seem to be going from bad to worse there.
I see they are selling the desks, which look like the ones that were once inside.
Well done, hope they do something about this soon, as it seems things are only going to get worse.
I wonder if these will just get closed off like the other ones.
Yes I saw this on the news this morning. If relevant it will be interesting to see what effect it has.
As for the state of the place, it gets worse by the day. If nothing else, the person staying there illegally parks they road going motorbike on the pavement in the evenings.
Seems to be no continuity on how they act on the reports. Some opened and dealt with in hours, other left for days then closed and declined as an issue.
The whole place is an eyesore now, and I am sure some of it is on the public footpath. Im also sure that a motorcycle being stored indoors with fuel in it cannot be legal.
Oh well what do we know.
It's not a residential building (unless they're squatting in an upstairs flat?) so it will have limited, if any, relevance.
Does the landlord, if it isn't being occupied by the owners, know this is happening?
Good question actually. I wonder who would be responsible and able to inform them
