It appears the Dalston to New Cross section of the ELL opened at 7am with a shuttle service every 15 mins, yet Forest Hill station staff told passengers to use London Bridge instead.
It's not also their fault, BBC London 94.9 suggested the whole line was closed during the rush.
So it is runing today (Thursday)?
I managed to get a train at 7.25 this morning, it was officially the 7.04 though, so big delays.
The Overground has now been suspended between New Cross Gate and W Croydon and Crystal Palace and there are still no Southern services so it looks as if we officially have no trains coming in or out of Forest Hill at the moment...
My husband got the 185 bus earlier today but it diverted through Peckham Rye into Camberwell to avoid Dog Kennel Hill.
Yesterday morning I managed to get on a London Bridge train at around 8:30 in the morning having waited at least half an hour and being one of few who managed to get on. I went home via the DLR and the P4. This morning I managed to get on an overground train with similar conditions as yesterday and with all the reports on here I am wondering if I should just call it a day and work from home.
Does anyone know if we have any trains running, or is the DLR and P4 the way to go?
The Dalston flier is stopping at New Cross Gate and going no further south. Southern are running 2 trains an hour from Croydon to London Bridge. I had to wait about 45 mins but managed to get the London Br train eventually.
I got the 171 from HOP as far as Elephant and then got the tube. It wasn't too bad to be honest, slow, but not tht busy.
definitely leaving early to go home tonight though.

Southern will be running a special service every 30 minutes tomorrow between Purley and London Bridge finishing by 9pm.
No mention of how London Overground will be operating tomorrow yet.[/align]
London Overground tomorrow:
Friday 3 December, a reduced service operates due to the adverse weather conditions.
Eight trains an hour from Dalston Junction with four trains to New Cross Gate, two of which continue to West Croydon and two to Crystal Palace. Four trains an hour between Dalton Junction and New Cross.
I cycled to Westminster and back. Didn't take any longer than normal although had to take mainn roads; not too much traffic though.
