We went to the Geffrye museum on Saturday- the journey was a dream. The only downside was on the way back the lift was broken so we had to travel to Haggerston to get back onto the line going south.( buggies!)
Looking forward to going back to Columbia Road and Brick Lane one Sunday- you can easily walk to Brick Lane from Hoxton /Columbia Road and vice verse- takes about 15 minutes tops. The great thing about those trains is that they are excellent for buggies as loads of room, so for once hard for people to complain.
I'd be keen to go back to Whitechapel Art Gallery as haven't been since its refurb but there seem to be steps- anyone know how many?
Can't believe the 'tube' is here at last!

I have tried to gather all the info here and I have linked to all the relevant websites for the attractions along the route:

This is a new HOP blog looking for contributors at the moment so if you feel like writing something relevant to Honor Oak Park or near areas send me a message here.

visited 19 Princelet Street off Brick Lane yesterday, this is known as the "Museum of Immigration" and is rarely open to the public as the building is so fragile. However, it really is the most wonderful place it is run by volunteers who clearly cherish and adore it, they urgently need £3,000,000 to restore it before the building is lost (its completely unrestored)
This is a house of mystery and history but above all its about people. Keeping loggin in to their web
http://www.19princeletstreet.org.uk to find out more and if you get the chance go and see! its only 10 mins walk from Whitechapel Station

I went to the city farm at Spitalfields yesterday - what a lovely place. The two girls selling cakes said there is a strawberry festival on 11th July so I hope to go back then - yummy!

The Princelet Street house looks fascinating. I visited something similar in New York.
Its also quite near Dennis Sievers house and also Gilbert and George's place.
