Next Sunday marks the centenary of the Catford Bus Garage, so one day before the centenary, on the Saturday, there will be a chance to sit in a bus as it goes through a bus wash.

The event takes place on Saturday 10th May from 10:30am to 4pm.

I believe Steven Lewis (Blakey) lives/lived somewhere around Forest Hill. I saw him a couple of times in Sainsburys some years ago.

Waiting for a 356 bus, which is operated by Catford Garage can feel like a 100 years going between here and Bell Green.

I grew up watching reruns. My grandfather was a bus inspector in the North East of England. He used to laugh so hard at the show...lovely memories. RIP.
