I'm rather depressed by the candidates. I don't think I can vote for any of them.

I think we should have the 'two term' law where elected officials can only stay in power for two terms maximum. It might make them try harder too. I'm sure Steve is a good guy (I've been told so) but I have yet to be convinced that he's been particularly effective. He said himself that it's difficult doing things with such a bureaucratic council. If he's the leader of it, and he see's this as a problem, then why doesn't he try to change it?
