I'm going to save you my reasons for voting for Steve Bullock in 2014 - set out on Sydenham Town Forum here - but I regret not having space to go into the standards of housing maintenance - not least because I don't know that much about it, living in tradtional owner occupied housing. But comments such as yours, and some made at at meeting organised by Dianne Abbott recently, carry a background message that, for all that expanding social housing ought to be a good thing, the practice leaves something to be desired. In other words, what Mrs Thatcher was responding to with her right to buy policy.
