I've had a bit of an exciting time on eBay and ended up with a knitting machine. I do not know how to use a knitting machine.

I'm working through the instruction book but the learning curve is pretty steep and it seems to assume that the reader understands the basics already, as of course one would would, before buying such a complex toy.

And so I was wondering if there might be anybody locally who understands a bit more about the nature of this knitting beast than I do who might be able to come and give me some help getting started? I'm having real trouble just casting on!

I would really be very grateful for a little help in person, there is loads of groups online but I don't know enough to even be able to adequately explain my problems!
