Evening,

We have moved to the area recently and been clearing our garden which had a lot of soil and rubble piled up in a heap at the back. When we came to investigate disposing of this we have found that the local refuse centre (in New Cross) does not take soil and garden rubble and therefore we will have to pay in excess of £200 for it to be removed privately. Does anyone have any experience of trying to dispose of similar rubbish? Are they really strict in New Cross as everyone I have spoke to thinks it is crazy that we can't take anything to the local tip!

Any advice appreciated. Thanks,
Nicola
