Monday night and a treat to a meal out. Not as simple as it sounds. We know Le Querce is closed on a Monday (our first choice), never mind, let's go to Donde. Closed, no reason given. Never mind, let's go to Hopscotch. Closed no reason given. Never mind, let's try Sodo. Closed, Why?
Ended up in the Brockley Jack and it was quite nice actually.
Point being, why were all this places closed tonight?
Anyone know?

Is it not just because the staff need a day off, and they've chosen Monday because it is the least popular evening for going out? Not for you, obviously! Glad you found the Brockley Jack open. Nice place.

But surely if they advertise that they are open on Monday's as Donde do, you expect them to be open!!!!!!! But ever mind we'll just try our luck again next time.......... Not!!

Ah, yes, if they advertise themselves as open on Mondays, that is a very different thing. Odd!!
