Hello,

First post but an important one!

As I'm new to Forest Hill does anyone know if any of the pubs in Forest Hill will be showing the rugby this weekend? I've had a look but it doesn't seem they will be. When I've been in the Dartmouth and Sylvan Post they don't seem to have tvs. If none are showing in FH can you recommend any?

Thanks!

The Blythe Hill Tavern on Stanstead Road has the Six Nations on every year.
If it's too far of a walk for you the 185 bus stops nearly right out side its door. It's a great pub and will probably be packed on the week-end because of the Rugby but it's worth it!

The Bird in Hand will more than likely have the games on. Not the most brilliant pub in the world but good when the sports are on as there is normally some good banter when the games are on. Can't tell you about soccer games though as that's not really a sport..

++ for the Blythe Hill Tavern. Good beer too. Might try to make it down for Ireland vs Scotland on Sunday, although it'll be cat amongst the pigeons as my old man is from Dundee.. come on you scots!!

The All Inn One usually has games on.

You can ask them here:

I can't say for sure but would the Railway Telegraph (opposite Topps Tiles on the South Circ) have the games? Or is that a footie pub?
