I'm sorry to say that there is a dead ginger cat in the garden of lynfield court, it's been hit by a car. It looks very similar to my little Toby who of course was nowhere to be found this morning, but this one is all ginger and mine has white paw tips. I had to go to work, but if it's still there when I get home I'll take it to the vet on lordship lane to be scanned for a chip. I have taken a photo which I won't post, but if you think it might be yours please inbox me and I'll send it to you. Poor thing.

With all this extra traffic going through Devonshire road at the moment, that might have sadly contributed to what happened to the poor cat.

That's exactly what I thought. I fell out with someone who was doing about 60 down there the other day. In a 1.2 corsa. Choice words were spoken about why he felt the need to go so fast down a residential street, as it can't have been to show off the performance of his car. Hopefully Honor Oak Road will reopen at the weekend!
