Walking up Siddons Rd this morning, about 9am in front of me was a female, mixed race or black, under twenty I'd say walking a medium/large/pitbull/mastiffy type, but skinny, light brown dog on a lead. The owner stopped every few steps and threatened to kick the dog, which immediately cowered, she actually did kick the dog in the face and on the head several times. My friend shouted at her and I attempted to talk to her, she didn't turn round but the dog did baring its teeth.

Does anyone know anything about this poor terrified dog..it was a picture of abject misery.

Thank you, I have already reported it, very difficult to do very much more. I was really hoping some one would recognise this dog and owner and give me more information.

Cheers.

I live on Siddons Road and don't recognise them from the description. Will keep my eyes peeled though.

Saw a similar thing a few months ago near the Dewanian curry house a few months back was the owner of a large build? I wanted to get out the car and give her the same treatment. If it is the same person I would suspect she takes different routes to walk/torment the poor dog.

I also live on Siddons Road and I saw a woman and dog matching this description at around the time you're talking about on Friday - I was just getting out of my car near the top of Siddons Road. She'd stopped any abusive behaviour by the time she passed me and was actually quite courteous (I'd stopped to let her walk thorough a narrow gap between lamp post and bins).

I hadn't seen her before (and I've lived on the street for over 10 years) so not sure she lives on Siddons.

Thanks for the replies. She did stop after my friend yelled in her best 'hard' voice "Oi stop that!" She quickened her pace and stopped the kicking.
Been keeping a look out for her, but nothing.
Thanks Smile
