recently visited Hall Place at Bexley, its gorgeous Jacobean House and Gardens, lots of things for kids to do, wonderful grounds with a river, ducks, weeping willows. Not far from Forest Hill by train from lewisham to Bexley then a short bus ride, everything free apart from the House which is a easonable £5 for a yearr's entry
