Just wanted to warn people about the three teenage girls who stole my phone at about 6.30pm on London Road, just up from the Butchery/barbers shop.

They approached me and asked me for the time, then grabbed my phone - I got bitten(!) trying to stop them from taking it - be aware.

Thanks also to the lovely lady who stopped to make sure I was alright.

Oh no Sad Sorry to hear that. Have you reported it to the police. Any better description.
When you say you got bitten, is that a term or was there a dog involved too? Sorry for the dumb questions.

Glad you are ok, that's the main thing.

Horrible scummy people! Angry

Sorry, penny has dropped about 'bitten'
The more info you can give the better, so people can be on the look out.

Three teenage girls, black, 5'5 to 5'8 ish, one had a green coat, all wearing dark clothes. police involved (and amazing)

Yes, one actually bit me on the arm when I tried to keep hold of my phone. Horrible.

I am fine though (and still love Forest Hill)

Sorry to hear that, and hope the bite is not bad, I wish those people all the bad karma they deserve.

I got a lady's phone back a year or so ago who had it stolen from two male youths, but I let the one I got the phone off go. When I hear things like this I do regret that - let's hope they catch these girls before they do it again.
