While I'm sure you and your close family are innocent of any crime/protest/mistake in the last 50 years, it would be good to know for certain, I guess.
Perhaps you better run it past them first as DNA is shared data really.

And your children and grandchildren will also be pleased to know that they can be more easily identified for a breach of any future extreme law made perhaps by a federal european government.

DNA matching is a brilliant technique for solving serious crime but it is being abused by the authorities. Worrying.

skynews - I suggest you copntact the Metpol Press bureau - as the victims were elderly ladies it is highly unlikely they would wish to be on TV

Why make these ladies re-live what was a horrible ordeal, just let it rest and hope the scum bag who did this rots in jail for a VERY VERY long time, like forever.

The night stalker was caught months ago unless there is yet another one. He lived in Brockley.

My initial reaction to the SkyNews post was that it's not genuine - I would have thought (although I'm happy to be told otherwise) that a genuine producer would have given a bit more info as to official Sky contact details etc so people could check out whether it was a genuine item before getting in touch. But perhaps I'm just a cynic...

Hawkesrah, was the person charged last november found guilty?

I don't think he has been tried yet - innocent until proved guilty still in England and Wales!

I think the media comes out of this very well if they are not reporting between charging and trial. And I don't think 'Sky News' is looking for victims but for others affected.

However, I would suggest that people do not respond to 'media organisations' unless they provide an email address, so that you can be a little more certain that they are who they say they are.

well it would not be contempt of court to report his plea - which would have been made in open court. As it was not reported it may not have happened on 10th June as planned

The night stalker was arrested on the 15th November 2009. His name is Delroy Grant aged 52 who lived in Brockley Mews. He is a West Indian black man who lived with his wife and two sons. His wife has multiple sclerosis.

His trial is ongoing at the Inner London Crown court. He was eventually caught by CCTV in Shirley Croydon . That CCTV showed the reflection of a bus in a shop window. It was the CCTV on the bus that identified his car.

A man was arrested a few weeks possibly months ago now, who had been attacking people in their homes
He lived over the other side of Honor Oak Railway and had a disabled wife
I think he was also a Jehova Witness
Seemingly upstanding man but with this dark side and I believe he was thought to be the one they had been after
