I am wondering where to get this years Christmas tree from.

I'm based in HOP and would like to get one this Sunday, but what with the train disruptions and no car, we need somewhere walkable, busable, or that delivers!

Any suggestions would be great!

Try Shannon's Garden Centre on Stanstead Rd, I think they deliver.

I saw a place this weekend with a big sign for xmas trees although there were no xmas trees for sale yet. The place was at the angle of Lordship Lane and Dulwich common. So it is easy to take the P4 bus from there and get back to Honor Oak.

Crofton Park Library normally has Christmas trees for sale during December. We've always bought from there and walked back to HOP with it, and we've always been very happy with the trees.

Just bought my tree from Shannon's - they had an excellent choice.

The Holly Tree Florist shop on Brockley Rise (beside the Post Office) is where I have bought my Christmas Tree from for the past couple of years. Lovely tree, kept its needles well too! I carried mine home as it is only a short walk from my property.

Not sure if they have started selling them yet this year but you could give them a call to check. I know they also deliver trees for free locally too.

The Florist on HOP parade also usually stocks trees but again not sure if they have them in stock yet. Someone has already mentioned Crofton Park Library - they usually have some lovely trees too.

Enjoy decorating your tree when you get it!

I've used these guys for past 4-5 years :

Christmas Forest

Based at junction of Dulwich Common and Lordship Lane.

Good selection of trees imo.

Only thing is to get in there quick as they do run out of the more popular varieties.

I popped in the Holly Tree on Saturday and the lady said she's getting trees in this week. I must go in and look at the hand made cards - they look good

Just seen a flier for the Crofton Park Community Library guys - says they deliver free locally. Open from 28th November, Mon - Fri 9:30 - 19:00, Sat, Sun 8:00 - 20:00. Some of the money goes towards the cost of keeping the library open.

King's Church in Catford is delivering them (or you can pick up) for their excellent Jericho Road homelessness project - a tree and a warm glow from helping others...(no affiliation of mine, they just looked good)
